It's all about the Money

ever wondered what happened behind an atm? what happens to all that cash deposited and withdrawn so many times? before dinner i dropped by the bank to the atms and some bank personnel were collecting the money and loading it all into a securiforce van. to show how serious the situation was, all the personnel were looking very tensed and pressured and keep looking around at us as though expecting us to pull out a gun at any time. i thought of pretending to pull out a gun for fun but then i realised it was quite a stupid thing to do. the guard with the huge shotgun would probably blast a hole in me before i can say chill chill i'm jk!! lol. after they collected all the new crisp 50 $ notes into a bag, (oooooh, money...... $$$$$$$$$ haha) the guard loaded his shotgun with a chik-chak that i would love to hear myself doing one day. :P. then they hurried out and got into the van and left without an incident. if there was one i'd probably be on the floor lol. so yea this shows how serious money is in our lives. some people in fact many people are willing to do anything to get their hands on large sums of it. me and the other atm users were probably all thinking that we were in danger of being held hostage by robbers on the now-not-so-low possiblity of a robbery happening or being suspected by the guards of being a criminal. money is important, but money can't buy everything. =)

Household Pest

i hate cicaks. those little grey-tan colored lizards that always hang around lighted signs outside mamaks and fluorescent lights? i hate them with a vengeance. don't get me wrong, not the kinda hate where you go like: Ohmigosh a lizard!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH then run away 50 miles an hour going i hate them i hate them i hate those things!! haha....

they invade my house. u may say that they're good for us, eat mosquitoes and other insects but they do deliver a huge load of shit all over your porch and elsewhere. worse still, these daring little things have entered my house not for more insects, but food. human food. human-eating food. lizards. eating human-eating food. so annoying...... gosh.....

recently one loves to hide near a dustbin so whenever food wrappers or scraps of food get thrown in, he dives in and rustles out the moment anyone comes nearby. i wanna catch that little pest and throw him out. grr. another one loves to stick in the kitchen near all my cutlery and dishes and another actually is hooked on 100plus and coke and shandy and beer!! well all the empty cans anyway. we place them on a shelf before putting them in a bag at the back. so he sticks around there getting high on coke. funny? maybe amusing the first time. but now its down right annoying.

AND YET ANOTHER ONE recently found his/her/its way into our BLOODY FREAKING TOASTER!! OH MY ****!? WHO WANTS TO TOAST BREAD THERE ANYMORE??? the little blighter wouldn't even leave after i tried peeling off the cover. in the end tak jadi. there was one last screw that no phillips or flathead screwdriver could open. so we left it there hoping he would leave after stuffing himself with breadcrumbs. i half thought of torching him to death with the toaster but then how would i get the ugh body out? lol.

right after dinner just now, i lost my cool and found 2 lodged under my microwave oven. so i found a long stick and swiped them out. before one could get over the sudden bright disorientation i slammed one hand down on him. for animal lovers dont worry they're pretty tough. the other ran away but all my attention was on this trouble maker. hehehe this guy that has been tormenting me over the months is in my hand..... muahahahah what should i do with him?? hmm. eww. u dirty thing. shit all over my hand now ah?? or maybe i slammed u too hard till u terberak or something. gross. i picked him up, carefully avoiding his end and threw him out of my house hoping he never returns. good riddance i thought. sigh. i feel good. 1 gecko down. hahahahah. 1 down. and how many more to go......? oh my gosh. probably tens of them. so much for my victory. ah well.

the fight goes on. ;) ;)

Lecturers Revenge Day aka Parents Day

the day that most students dread. unless you're like those top students who ace every test they sit. like that guy i saw today, i think he was practically bursting with pride..... forget that, irrelevant.

so yeah, i told my mom quite casually about it cuz i was sure she wouldn't want to come or wouldn't have time to come but who knows?? she looked up with that interested expression and went like: " really ah? hmm then i better come. " wtfish. backfired. or im just a big mouth. so today i'm walking all over the 3rd floor pacing here and there barging into all kinds of classes looking for my mom who said she'd be there but when i called her she just won't answer her phone. but wait then again she hardly does answer it lol.

in the end DR wong found me and told me my mom was waiting on the 3rd floor. while i was blundering around like a sesat guy. OH MY GOSH. ah well. these things happen. so i found her there, she already saw mr rajah. so we went to see the other lecturers and lucky us mr yong mr lee were simultaneously free what a stroke of luck.... i mean bad luck.

ahem they pulled out our results table with a fluorish and started blah blah blahing. and i just sat there staring at the ceiling going like uh huh and nodding and the wrong times but it doesn't matter. what's important is that i, WE all focus from this point on and TRY to reduce our leisure time after and between classes and meals. ahem ahem. yes it means me too. i try. :D

so yeah nothing much out of the ordinary. quite surprised i didn't get grilled much. maybe mom's given me up as a lost cause. whoops! looking forward to our trip. hopefully after all our good planning with proper time management cuz of now, we'll have a double smashing time during grad with the musical, essentially and our trip after that. something to look forward to instead of post exam euphoria.

A familiar face from England

it has been a long time since i wrote anything here in my blog. and since people used to say that i had good typing skills they believed that it came from blogging and writing lots of posts and entries. but i haven't updated my blog since last year. ;)

ok then lets kick things off. last last week, my cousin from England came to visit us in Malaysia. when i say us i mean the whole family haha. and it was real good seeing them all again, with their great accents and curious innocence towards Malaysian culture and lifestyles, although they're getting pretty good at it.

she's the one on the bottom left. the middle guy is our cousin zi hao.

randomness

our cousin's parents friends joining us at home. damn why am i so yeng. cough cough. ^^'

Shopping in bangkok

time is so precious. last saturday i rushed off for my SAT which i'm sure i screwed up and then right after the nerve wracking SAT subject tests i rushed off to the KTM station behind carrefour and rushed off to kl central to catch another train to rush off to singapore for a rushed stay at my ah yee's house then rushed off to bangkok the following morning. phew (wipes sweat) the time zone diff is 1 hour so kinda confusing. no jet lag and yeah bangkok was great. they've got so many interesting stuff bout them here let me show ya:

Stuff u didn't or might not know about bangkok:
1. they wear yellow during their king's birthday.
2. the king's birthday is err....... sometime around the 4th or 5th of december.
3. his citizens are very supportive and stand around on streets holding lit candles to show their support and love
4. u cannot and should not point ur toes at anybody especially the head. they think ur head is the most important part of ur body. so its offensive if u do that.
5. their food is great.... spicy tom yam oh gosh!!! thank you thank you..
6. their streets are very much like downtown kl only there's less less rubbish
7. their drivers and pedestrians are super friendly. cars stop for u to cross even though the ped crossing is red and random street people u dunno lend u their phones to call hotels that the driver doesn't know how to get to.
8. they speak quite very little english.

here are the pics:

me sis in the royal palace. the place is very intricate and specific and beautiful

those strutures have a name but i forgot dy. swt

just like in england. almost. ahaha. their soldiers are trained and disciplined.

this magnificent structure is called a wat. what?? no a wat. what what? yea only u say it once. a what? yes. no i dont get it what what? no its a wat. u say wat once. not wat wat. what???? yeah u got it!!

the stairs are super steep probably 60 or 70 degrees from the floor. pretty scary. more intricate designs and hardwork made this magnificent structure possible.

someone tell me what this shop is about?? haha. porn in thai means something fashion related. i think. :P

errr forgot how this pic came about again haha. i think it was in chatuchak. the equivalent of petaling street.

more elaborate designs placed all over the king's palace

outside the king's palace: my dad, sis, mom

inside one of the wats. what? yeah.

at the airport.

oooooo!! anybody daring enough?? i didn't hehe..... fried crickets, a local delicacy.

a err friendly toast from the cafe in the hotel. haha

on the banks of the chao phraya river.

wat Arun.

Genting trip

places like genting and sunway lagoon, some island or theme park that u've been to are all common yet we find ourselves enjoying the trips we make when we go there, like when i went to genting with almost half my class. check it out:

two sleeping beauties

i dont know what ride this is we were seperated here. i think its some old car ride or something. left to right: seng seng, yun hsi, jun hao, kar wye

wei seng: wan jinn ur guilty!!
wan jinn: of what?? (raises hands)
wei seng: errr.........

left to right: kar wye, wen chi, me, su shan, meng shuen
(survivors of the sky shot)

cough cough this picture is purely for catching people who use their cameras too much xD xD

picture kinda blurry. cam phone maybe. kar wye in a hat.

the guys of the whole group in the coffee shop having coffee at 12 midnight xD

left to right kar wye jay me yun hsi

oo joy look there's thomas!! and jay being kiap-ed between us all. sin yen on the left, max top right, thomas in red

candid.... or is it intentional shot??? jun hao and er someone :P

err can't see who's on the left -.- i 'll hazard a guess its shin yee, pui yee in the middle, thomas on the right

our whole gang woot woot wooooooooooooot

we had a blast, cooking steamboat food and enjoying the health deterioting tastes of instant cup noodles. we shot 50 metres into the air and drove round in go karts, went round and round on the corkscrew 3 times i think ate all kinds of good and bad stuff had lots of fun and together time. and guess what we're seriously dedicated to each other. when one gets left behind we all stay back and wait for that person. seriously. here's an example, wei seng carried a 'deadly avian flu influenza' up to genting and despite all the risks and dangers involved, we all stayed back with him and got sick together with him. wasn't that fun...... xD xD xD so yeah we're loyal to each other and we'd gladly do stuff 4 each other. one big happy family woot woooooot.

[ all comments made in this post is purely half fictional and its up to u to think what u like. for the true real story please refer to class s5 of our magnificent sunway college A-levels wooooooooot. i think i'm freakin high. must've been the mints last night. ]
