Shopping in bangkok

time is so precious. last saturday i rushed off for my SAT which i'm sure i screwed up and then right after the nerve wracking SAT subject tests i rushed off to the KTM station behind carrefour and rushed off to kl central to catch another train to rush off to singapore for a rushed stay at my ah yee's house then rushed off to bangkok the following morning. phew (wipes sweat) the time zone diff is 1 hour so kinda confusing. no jet lag and yeah bangkok was great. they've got so many interesting stuff bout them here let me show ya:

Stuff u didn't or might not know about bangkok:
1. they wear yellow during their king's birthday.
2. the king's birthday is err....... sometime around the 4th or 5th of december.
3. his citizens are very supportive and stand around on streets holding lit candles to show their support and love
4. u cannot and should not point ur toes at anybody especially the head. they think ur head is the most important part of ur body. so its offensive if u do that.
5. their food is great.... spicy tom yam oh gosh!!! thank you thank you..
6. their streets are very much like downtown kl only there's less less rubbish
7. their drivers and pedestrians are super friendly. cars stop for u to cross even though the ped crossing is red and random street people u dunno lend u their phones to call hotels that the driver doesn't know how to get to.
8. they speak quite very little english.

here are the pics:

me sis in the royal palace. the place is very intricate and specific and beautiful

those strutures have a name but i forgot dy. swt

just like in england. almost. ahaha. their soldiers are trained and disciplined.

this magnificent structure is called a wat. what?? no a wat. what what? yea only u say it once. a what? yes. no i dont get it what what? no its a wat. u say wat once. not wat wat. what???? yeah u got it!!

the stairs are super steep probably 60 or 70 degrees from the floor. pretty scary. more intricate designs and hardwork made this magnificent structure possible.

someone tell me what this shop is about?? haha. porn in thai means something fashion related. i think. :P

errr forgot how this pic came about again haha. i think it was in chatuchak. the equivalent of petaling street.

more elaborate designs placed all over the king's palace

outside the king's palace: my dad, sis, mom

inside one of the wats. what? yeah.

at the airport.

oooooo!! anybody daring enough?? i didn't hehe..... fried crickets, a local delicacy.

a err friendly toast from the cafe in the hotel. haha

on the banks of the chao phraya river.
