No, not the plate or the dish used to make food, but the actual food casserole. yup. made some yesterday with my mom, so it doesn't count as me cooking. yet. but not bad actually. and its quite easy, if not large to cook. for those of u budding cooks out there, this is a great dish to try, if u dont mind tuna and ur not lactose intolerant.
first, cook some pasta, perferably macarroni (or is it macaronni???) in a pot. while you're doing that, (it's bound to take a while, that's a lot of water to boil) chop some celery, grate some carrots, dice some onions and open two tins of ayam brand tuna in water and a can of campbell's mushroom soup. then uh how'd it go again??
oh yeah, dump some butter into a kuali or a wok, heat it over a medium fire. then dump all your onions and celery and carrots in, make sure to keep flipping it or it will burn! then dump in more butter and the soup and tuna, make sure it is very slightly watery, like uh like pancakes before they're done. rofl.
then add some mixed spices in, you can get them anywhere but if you're lazy just dump in some (note the following:) oregano, basil, pepper, and any other spice that you think'll go with it. haha.
finally ladle out your wet pasta and WHOO HOOO!!! DUMP IT ALL IN UR WOK!! YEA BABY!! LOOK AT THAT THING, IT'S OVERFLOWING!! mix well and stir well, make sure the mix is even and not burnt anywhere, and make sure nothing spills over. obviously.
finally. when it smells really tempting and the soup looks like it's gonna get burnt (wattaguan?!!) scoop it all out into some heat proof bowls or serving trays and bake in oven for 40-50 mins. (what??? still bake after all that frying?? yea i thought so too.)
the end product should be something like dried lasagna minus the layers and cheese. oh yea i forgot add some cheese in before u dump it in the oven. cheers and enjoy!! if u dare to follow what i said above. wahhahahaaah. but it was good. :P
