for the first time in a long time, the funniest thing i ever heard happened to me today while i was in the computer lab. (monash comp lab) this guy's phone ringtone turned on and the craziest song i ever heard popped out, drumming right into my ears. for those of u who've heard flo rider's song 'low', cough cough, go check out a stupidly funny version of it. it's quite recent i think, hopefully, otherwise i'll just be embarrassing myself over outdated-ness haha. oh and music censorship should be encouraged for those of u who can't stop laughing at stupid funny remixes. hahahahaa. check out, flo rider - low (chipmunk version).

right sorry for not keeping this blog updated like some of you more active guys, but i was away on uhh urgent business at my hometown kuantan, cuz my grandma passed away. so i rushed back in the middle of class on wednesday, just got back today. and yea thomas i forgive u hahahahaha. so we had the funeral and all the cleansing rituals and stuff, though i don't believe in those. all my uncles and aunts turned up which was quite touching cuz all of them were here throughout the whole matter. and of course, never forgetting, a great thanks to all my good friends and relatives and contacts who gave their condolences for this sad event. i'll miss u grandma. sniff. it's hard knowing that she's gone forever and that i'll never see her again except in photographs and newspaper obituaries. omgosh.......... thanks again all u guys. ur the greatest. and HOLY TOOT HOW AM I GOING TO CATCH UP WITH WHAT I MISSED?!?!

One week... just one...

well what do u know. its been one week since i started studying in the monash university school of business, majoring under accounting and banking and finance. so far its been ok cuz we haven't had any real tutorials or work yet, but next week we're gonna be super occupied with all the assignments and lectures. probably be 24 7 busy unlike a levels which only had one final exam. sniff. the assignments and tutorials count points into our final score, so its kinda tough. zzzzz.

where to start? i'm taking accounting and management and economics and business stats for this semester, semester as in half year, so i end my first sem in november, where the exams start. all the lecturers are great, they keep us entertained and make sure we don't fall asleep too fast during lectures in big lecture halls or auditoriums with comfy seats and air conditioning. kinda like the size of our sunway audi where dr wong always briefs us on the exam preps and rules and regulations and stuff. cant even remember the name of that audi anymore. =.='

life goes on, i see the engineering gang less and less, the rest of our s5s4 i hardly see anymore and i'm often forced to walk to medan or white by myself during lunchtimes sniff sniff so sad. but what to do. its that or super expensive food in monash. but the cafeteria very nice. but still expensive food. and don't have ice cream. grr.

met tons of old friends here, both from a levels and sunway and my sec school and church and stuff so its great. must always remember to make new friends besides remembering the old ones. here in monash we have 'friends' coming from mauritius, (great diving country) pakistan, afghanistan, iraq, indon, china, thailand, vietnam, africa, etc. so we have lots of opportunities to make lots of lasting friendships, sarcasm aside.

i'm so spaced out. gonna go find something to do before i fill my head with empty space.

Flour?! what flour!??

today we had MOlympics at Monash. some kinda sports day for new students. hehe. went to uni with nina and met up with carmen and victor. it wasn't too bad today. quite fun. we had games like blind football, frisbee, water balloons, kite flying, human shapes, stuff like that. omgosh. the funniest part was......

frisbee. had some practice when we were at redang, but still not enough for today. :P. the other teams probably play ultimate frisbee weekly or something. we got owned and as punishment we got..... wait. if anybody saw me today at college, no i didn't have a super dandruff attack. i had white stuff all over my hair and shirt and shoulders and pants and down my shirt even. =.=

no its not dandruff. so anybody who saw me today pls dont mistake it. haha. i dont have dandruff and i hope i never do. it was flour. FLOUR?! yes, flour. like flour u use to make cake and pastry stuff. the white powdery fluffy stuff. so its not dandruff. although im sure some people thought otherwise cuz they avoided me with a 10 foot radius. haha. joking. so yea. losing team was punished by dousing with flour. from on top. O_o. i got hit the most. who ask me stand right under the bucket. so there was all this white cracky, flour-wer-ry, stuff all over me. ewwww. especially when i sweated, it got worse. holy smokes!! wet flour is very very hard to get off. its like tar. argggh.

lessons of today learnt are:
1. dont stand under a bucket of anything.
2. avoid body contact with flour at all costs, unless making flour-based food.
3. if someone walks by u full of white dry stuff all over him, not necessarily its dandruff.
4. bring sun-tan lotion next time its a hot day.
5. play more frisbee.

=) too bad the rest of our old gang didn't turn up today. lazies!! :P

Orientation. ZOMG UNI ALREADY!?

WATTAGUAN?! entering uni already lor. today was orientation at monash. all the engineering and arts and business and social sciences and medicine students come running along today to sign up and go through the boring orientation process thingy. but not that bad lar....

arrived at college usual time. as in the usual time i would reach foyer and see thomas and/or khai khuang at our custom spot doing hw/ stoning/ rotting. today nobody there wor.... sniff sniff. helped my mom move our new load of dragon fruit to her room (had to use trolley!) then waited for nina and kurt to arrive.

nina arrived wearing a super hot shirt( HOT DAMN) then kurt sms-ed saying he'll be late so he'll meet us at monash. so the 2 of us walked to monash, met up with a few old classmates and friends, carmen, shin yee, pui ee, etc. then kurt and jay tsen showed up. we signed up and got these funky sticky tags and dots pasted on us then we went off to get lost/find our respective audis for briefing. dunno why seperate its all the same briefing anyway, must be insufficient space issues. speeches by Prof Robin Pollard, our Pro-Vice Chancellor and President, a few other MUSA (Monash University Student Association) committee members, MUSA president and head Darren Ng, bla bla then we signed up for MOlympics he he, some sports thing they organised for freshies on friday.

after we got dismissed, HOLY SHIT!!!! free food!! free J. CO DONUTS, wattaguan?!?! free fried rice, free justea, free free free games free stuff. not interested.... lol. at least most of the freshies weren't. damn sad. oh well. we stuffed ourselves, at least i did, the rest just randomly chose some stuff lol. (the donuts, wei?!) then i won a monash rubic's cube by winning 3 outta 4 games. =_= which kurtwin then enjoyed later.

so after a partial lunch me and nina set off all over the monash campus trying to get used to all the lifts and audis and rooms and etc. carmen and the rest all balik, so i waited until nina's mom arrived then trekked back to college where poor kurtwin was all alone.

reached sunway college, (why isn't it our college anymore, huh?! HUH?! we're still alumni!! ) kurt was on the phone with xin yi, so i spoke a few words with her then the 2 of them emo-ed a bit, kurt re-assembled my rubic's cube, then we went cc for one hour, emo all the way, emo all the way back, emo cuz my mom said we're going back later, emo cuz all the pool and ping pong taken up, watched anne marie dance some amazing moves. then mom called. went home.

is it just me or am i a bit emo too???

sniff.
